The Soneva Jani is a heavenly hotel on Medhufaru Island in the Maldives with 25 rooms. The villas on stilts are in the middle of an incredible 5.6km lagoon in Noonu atoll. They all have a private pool and retractable roof to enjoy stargazing. The rooms are spacious and decorated with ecological materials.
We love the slide on the top floor to dive straight into the lagoon.
To get there, you will have to take a seaplane for about 40 minutes from Male International Airport.
The hotel has a three-floor main building with restaurants, a spa, the observatory and a dive center for water-based activities.
